Home of the von Poncets for many generations. As French Huegenots they fled to Germany and made Konradswaldau their home.

Marie-Luise von Poncet went there every year with 3 friends to play Bridge on one condition that she would be able to paint. She loved the Amalfi Coast.

It was given to her Granddaughter, Marie-Luise Visser, on her 21st birthday.

Flowers from Fairview

This bunch of flowers was picked in the huge garden of the farm Fairview. M-LvP always took some flowers back home to Sea Point after a visit. She gave the painting as a wedding gift to her granddaughter, Marie-Luise Visser.

Proteas

These flowers are part of the Fynbos Biome that you only find in the Western Cape, South Africa – the only Fynbos Biome of the world. Each child, Monika Rolle, Hubertus von Aulock and Marie-Luise Visser has a Protea painting. These 3 paintings were especially ordered for the guest room.
